Book Review: A Promise of Fire by Amanda Bouchet

This is the second time I'm reading this series because I loved it the first time around. It was such a quick and fun read. And I was just in the mood to reread them.

I will say, this is a perfect book. There are a few times where I either rolled my eyes or question everything that these characters were doing. The best advice I have, is don't take this book seriously. Have fun and enjoy the blossoming romance.

I will say, Amanda Bouchet can do world building. I love this world and wanting to know more about it.
The magic, the hierarchy just everything that is going on is well out together.

I cannot wait to continue reading this series again

Until next time, happy reading

Book Review: Revelle by Lyssa Mia Smith

This was such a fun and interesting concept for a book. I was hooked from the first chapter, but then definitely sucked in from the second.
I love the world building, the magic aspect of it all, even though I did want more from this world once I finished.

I really loved reading from Luxe's POV the most. Out of all the characters, she seemed the most mature one who was willing to sacrifice herself for her family.
And, of course, I loved the romance. Even though it was a slow burn and you just wanted to shake them with frustration.

I'm not going to say anymore about this book because I know that I'm going to spoil it.
Read this book if you love fantasy setting set in the 1920's. Where there is magic, love and all the plot twists that make you put your book down.

Until next time, happy reading
